To make soapmaking EASY for you,
we have put together an AWESOME collection of exciting
sparkle mica colors for you. These colors will not
bleed into each other but keep their precise shimmer,
luster and create simply gorgeous bars for you.
For
larger Volume of Select colors:
You
can use other water-based (not
candle colors!) for the opaque white base to create
the solid, flat colors you want in your designs,
brush with Micas to complete the beautiful shimmer
look.
To
make stain-glass soaps, just pour liquid clear
base into small molds.. (any size or shape because
you are going to cut them up to embed the color
pieces). Add small amount color to each mold and
allow to set-you want to create 'color blocks' .
Set aside a few pieces of clear, uncolored chunks
to roll in silver and/or gold coloring for a great
look inside the soap..adding that diamond-cut metallic
look.
Do
the same with your white soap base also, using water-based
colors, you can even use liquid food coloring (without
sugar). This will create your opaque solid-color
blocks.
Now
for the FUN.. start cutting up the color
blocks and coordinating the color chunks together
in piles to get the colors you want in your bars.
You can use fancy cutters to get zig zag shapes
etc etc etc. Be creative!
Now
melt more clear soap base and scent. We recommend
about 1-2 teaspoons of our extra-strength fragrances
per pound of soap (our entire line is both gel safe
and cosmetic grade, skin safe) Add fragrance and
stir.
Pour a thin baseline of the clear soap into the
mold so that the top of your bar will be smooth
and professional. Next add your color chunks into
the mold. Now pour the scented clear soap over the
chunks to the top of the mold.
Allow
soap to set until hard, remove from mold and READY
TO USE!!
